Mr Ho, a Non-Executive Independent Director of the Board is Managing Director and founder of Abacus Assets Advisors Pte Ltd, a financial advisory business. Before starting the company, he had an established career in the banking industry with 20 year of experience in the Singapore, Hong Kong and New York markets. Mr Ho previously held leadership and senior management positions at renowned financial institutions spearheading the expansion initiatives of regional operations. Between 1993 and 1997, he was an Executive Director of Paribas Merchant Banking Asia Pte Ltd. From 1988 to 1993 he worked at Overseas Union Bank Limited as Head of Regional Business for Corporate and Private Banking. Prior to that, Mr Ho held several positions at the Morgan Guaranty Trust Company of New York, including Head of Private Banking for South East Asia from 1987 to 1988. He is currently Chairman of the Autism Association (Singapore) which he co-founded with a group of parents in 1992. He is also the Supervisor of the Singapore Autism School. Mr Ho holds a Master of Science degree in Industrial Relations and Personnel Management from the London School of Economics and Political Science, and a Liberal Arts degree in Economics from Hamilton College, USA.
