Ms Leong is the Chief Executive Officer and Executive Director of the Board of CapitaCommercial Trust Management Limited (CCTML). She has more than 20 years of experience in real estate, banking and finance in Singapore, Korea, Hong Kong, Malaysia, the United Kingdom and the United States of America. Before joining CCTML, Ms Leong was the Chief Executive Officer of Ascendas' Korea office where she had spearheaded Ascendas' strong foothold in Korea's real estate market including the acquisition of office and logistics properties valued at close to KRW1 trillion and the establishment of its first real estate fund in Korea, the KRW750 billion Korea Office Fund that was co-invested by some of Korea's largest financial institutions. Prior to joining Ascendas, Ms Leong held positions in the London, New York and Chicago offices of LaSalle Investment Management, the real estate fund management group of NYSE-listed Jones Lang LaSalle that has over US$45 billion of assets under management. Her last position at LaSalle Investment Management was National Director of its Asian offices, where she was one of the co-founders. She was involved in establishing LaSalle's first Asian US$600 million real estate fund, acquisitions and asset management. Ms Leong began her career with Standard Chartered Bank and United Malayan Banking Corporation where she had held positions in real estate management and finance, corporate finance, corporate banking, treasury and retail banking. Ms Leong obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Estate Management and a Master of Science degree in Real Estate from the National University of Singapore. She also has a Diploma in Banking and Finance from Singapore's Institute of Banking and Finance, and an Advanced Diploma in Business Administration from the United Kingdom's Institute of Business Executives.
