Mr Ewen, a Non-Executive Independent Director of the Board, is a Director of DEXUS Property Group, the entity responsible for the operations of a high quality commercial, industrial and retail trust that manages more than A$15.0 billion worth of assets spread across Australia and select international markets. From 1985 to 2000, he was Chairman of NavyB Holdings Pty Limited, a private property company responsible for A$500 million worth of projects in Australia and New Zealand. The foundation of Mr Ewen's expertise in the property business was built during his time at Hooker Corporation, a major Australian-listed property company where he gained wide experience in the Australia and South East Asia markets. Mr Ewen established Byvan Management Pty Limited in 1983, where he spearheaded the growth in shopping centre assets under management to A$8 billion by 2000. He remained as Chairman of Byvan Management until 2001, when he disposed his interest in the company. Mr Ewen was also Managing Director of Enacon Limited, one of Australia's largest car parking companies. In addition, he serves as a Director of the Cure Cancer Australia Foundation, a leading cancer research organisation.
